An inn has been given a new food hygiene rating.
The Howard Arms Hotel, on Front Street in Brampton, was given a four-out-of-five food hygiene rating after an assessment on May 18, indicating 'good' food hygiene.
It means that of the Cumberland Council area's 320 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 251 (78 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
