A LAKE District spa has taken home the top prize in a prestigious national industry competition.
Lodore Falls Hotel and Spa have been awarded the prize of 'Best Destination Spa' at the 2024 Good Spa Guide Awards yesterday, June 24.
The spa which is based in the Lodore Falls Hotel in Borrowdale, near Keswick has thanked all those who supported them in achieving the prestigious accolade.
In a statement announcing their win on social media, Lodore Falls Hotel and Spa said: "We only went and did it!!! Best Destination Spa. Thank you so much to everyone who supported us."
The Spa at Armathwaite Hall were runners up in the category, after also being shortlisted for the Best Destination Spa prize.
Speaking previously about the shortlisted spa's, The Good Spa Guide 2024 said: "We've received an incredible number of nominations this year, showcasing the very best in the UK spa industry."
