POPULAR rock band Focus are set to perform in Carlisle later this year.
Featuring Thijs Van Leer, Pierre Van Der Linden, Menno Gootjes and Udo Pannekeet and initially formed in 1969, the Dutch favourites will play at the Old Fire Station in November.
Fresh from the studio where they are recording their new album, the prog rockers will traverse Europe to 'give their loyal fans what they always want, a good time, and timeless music'.
Their song Hocus Pocus, released in 1971, peaked at number 12 in the Netherlands and at 20 in the UK, exposing them to a new audience, while it also featured in Nike's 2010 World Cup advert.
Focus will play Carlisle on Friday November 8, with tickets available for £22.50.
