THE Beacon in Whitehaven has announced that it will be open daily throughout the summer holidays.
The museum, based at Whitehaven Harbour, will be offering a range of activities to keep children and families entertained.
In a post on social media, The Beacon wrote: "We're counting down till the summer holidays start. We'll be opening daily from Monday, July 15, all the way up until Wednesday, September 4, and we're cramming a whole load of fun into those nine weeks.
"We've got so much happening that it won't all fit in one post, so we thought we'd start by showing you some of the family activities that are available for booking now."
Some of the activities that will be happening are a visit from Pet Encounters Cumbria, Flip Entertainment, and Double Trouble Clowns for a circus workshop and bubble magic workshop.
The Beacon has reminded visitors to book early as workshops often fill up quickly.
