She said: "We're doing a big tenth-anniversary show on Saturday, July 6, at The Solway Hall.

"There are 85 students in the classes ranging from 4 years old right the way up to 75 in my adult choir there's a large range of ages there.

"The second act of our show is all linked to 2014, which is ten years ago when I did my first show.

"We're doing songs from 2014, we've got memory videos on the screen at the back with photographs of students new and old who have been with Sing Stars throughout that time.

"It's going to be a big celebration and lots of people will be getting ten-year awards, because they have been with me for the whole time.

"I did a degree in musical theatre at university, and I worked professionally as a performer for around five years and decided I wanted to go back to Cumbria and set up my own school.

"I wanted to teach others what I'd learned and experienced. It started as a Saturday morning class at St Begh's Social Club.

"I started there and did a babies and tots class, a junior class, followed by a senior class.

"It just kind of set off from there, all of the staff that I have were either students then or still work for me now.

"Most of the staff have been on the ten-year journey with me."

Beth explained that there have been some real highlights over the years with her classes performing at Disneyland Paris. She has also hosted charity events, and performed at weddings, festivals, and other functions.

She explains that she has enjoyed watching her classes grow as her shows originally started as small events at Whitehaven Golf Club. Whereas nowadays she does annual shows at The Solway Hall.

Beth thanked everyone who has supported the classes throughout the ten years.
