An LGBT youth charity is conducting outreach work looking at the need for a dedicated service in one of the county’s most rural areas.

Pride in North Cumbria (PiNC), a charity for young LGBT people which has a base in Carlisle, and a recently-opened centre in Maryport, is looking at the need for their dedicated services for the Penrith and Eden area.

PiNC will be holding a drop-in session for LGBT young people aged 13 to 24 to ‘connect with others, share experiences, and find support’.

It will be held in the café area of Eden Rural Foyer on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1pm and 4pm during July and August.
