Police cadets have teamed up with army cadets to undertaking some training exercises.
Over the past two weeks Carlisle police cadets have been conducting joint training with the Army cadets at Harraby detachment.
The cadets were practicing their drill, first aid skills and were given an insight into fire and movement.
Both cadet organisations also had an input in leadership from a neighbourhood policing sergeant before then working on their command and leadership skills by conducting command tasks.

Carlisle neighbour police said that the exercised were part of their ongoing work to ‘engage and support community projects’ in different neighbourhoods across the city.
Police are looking for more children aged between 12 and 18 to join the cadets and more information can be found online.
