MONTH-long A595 road works at New Mill to Gosforth, due for completion on June 29, are delayed due to supply issues.
Cumberland Council has announced the project is now expected to finish early next week.
Meanwhile, works along A595 Stubsgill Lane to Holmrook, initially scheduled for July 1, will commence once the New Mill scheme is completed.
Road closures continue from 7pm to 5am.

A spokesperson from Cumberland Council said: "We appreciate your support and patience during these works and apologise for any inconvenience and disruption caused."
