THE A595 has been reopened between Bothel and Blennerhasset after it was closed for 8 hours due to a serious road traffic collision shortly after midnight.
Emergency Services implemented an early hours road closure after the crash near the Blennerhasset turn-off on the A595.
An accident investigation team were working from School Lane (The Greyhound Inn) to the Blennerhasset turn-off.
Traffic monitoring site Inrix reported at 7.45am on Monday: "The A595 in both directions re-opened, earlier accident investigation work from School Lane (The Greyhound Inn) to the Blennerhasset turn-off.
"Following a serious accident involving two vehicles which happened just after midnight."
