A male has been arrested for driving under the influence and flouting licence conditions.
Copeland Police performed the arrest, seizing his vehicle in the process.
The driver, who also failed a roadside drug test, remains in custody.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said: "People who have such a blatant disregard for road safety have no place on our roads and put not only themselves but members of the public at risk."
