Carlisle Dance Academy continued their incredible record at competitions, as they took home another eight trophies from a national event last month.
In April, they took home four trophies at Ellesmere Port in their first ever national competition.
They entered their second competition of the year on Sunday June 23 at Ellesmere Port, again with the same four teams and this time, they came away with an astonishing eight trophies, winning the overall prize of £500.
Principal Laura Irwin said: "Once again, we won the whole competition, scoring the highest mark out of 66 teams. Our Junior team, who did a dance to a remix of Michael Jackson songs, won the overall prize of a £500 scholarship and £250 cash.
"The competition was even more difficult this time as we were up against three UK World Cup team representatives and two of our teams came first overall in their age ranges beating them all!
"This has blown us away and now all the children want to do is enter Britain's Got Talent."
The day was run by Prestige Competitions and out of a remarkable 66 teams represented, Carlisle Dance Academy were crowned as the overall winners at the event.
Laura added: "We were blown away by the standard of dancing on the day and thrilled for each and every one of our dancers who went out onto the stage and danced their heart out showing just how much love and passion they have for dancing."
Eva, from the Juvenile dance team, said: "It was such an intense day but we all had the best time and can't believe we won again."
Jasmine, Courtney and Lexi, from the Junior dance team, added: "The atmosphere was electric, it was such an amazing day. Winning feels so surreal."
