BOYBAND Blue and Saturday Night singer Whigfield will headline a free event on Whitehaven harbourside next month.
Proud and Diverse Cumbria have announced the acts set to perform at The Colours Community Festival.
The three-day celebration will kick off with the opening of Colours Whitehaven, an inclusion hub and café based at King Street, on Thursday, August 1.
A free community will then take place Friday, August 2 on Whitehaven harbourside, featuring Blue, Whigfield, Sam and the Womp, Ashley Paul, Decades Explosion, plus a surprise guest.
It is being held in association with Cumberland Council and Copeland Community Fund.
And on Saturday, August 3, Pride by the Harbourside will be headlined by DJ Sash, 911 and Katherine Ellis.
The pride event is being held in association with Whitehaven Harbour Commissioners, Cumberland Council, Cumbria Constabulary and a number of sponsors.
It will take place from midday until 8pm.
Both events are free to attend. No ticket is required for Pride but tickets are needed for the Friday event.
