Netherby Hall near Carlisle has won best self-catering accommodation at a regional awards ceremony.
The Cumbrian country house was named the winner of its category at the Cumbria Tourism Awards on Tuesday, July 2.
The Grade II listed property, located in Longtown, harbours nine grand self-catering apartments and cottages which are part of a 36-acre private estate.
Netherby Hall also engages in various pursuits such as gin production and providing unique experience breaks which encompass horse-drawn carriage jaunts to the local Michelin-starred Pentonbridge Inn.
The director of operations at Netherby Hall, Kim Capstick, said: "We are absolutely over the moon to have won self-catering accommodation of the year at the Cumbria Tourism Awards.
"I'm so proud of the whole team who work really hard to ensure that every guest has a fantastic time at Netherby Hall.
"Cumbria is home to so many high quality, amazing tourism businesses, so it's a huge honour to have won this award."
The Cumbria Tourism Awards is a significant event that recognises excellence across a spectrum of tourism enterprises which plays a considerable role in an industry contributing £4.1 billion to the local economy and maintaining over 43,500 full-time employment opportunities.
The awards took place at Castle Green Hotel in Kendal.
In this landmark half-century celebration for the organisation, winners were proclaimed across 16 categories such as accommodation, experiences, and food and drink, in addition to ethical, responsible and sustainable tourism.
With this recent win, Netherby Hall will go forward to represent Cumbria at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence in 2025.
For the preceding decade, owners Gerald and Margo Smith have spearheaded a major renovation project at Netherby Hall, transforming its former outbuildings into luxury self-catering apartments and meticulously restoring the house and its protected garden.
The Smiths also run the Michelin-starred Pentonbridge Inn.
Produce for the inn is sourced from the regimented garden at Netherby Hall, which, in addition, provides botanicals for their on-site gin distillation.
