AN OPERATIONAL management plan (OMP) has been submitted to the council ahead of approved plans to bring a multi-functional food, drink, and entertainment venue to Carlisle.
It follows after the proposal for STACK Carlisle was granted planning permission in May last year.
The premises, located at Lowther Street carpark, site of the former Her Majesty's Theatre, are composed of 50 shipping containers, designed to house street food outlets, bars, and host live entertainment events with a central plaza covered by a glass-framed roof.
The operational management plan includes trading hours, staffing and noise management, delivery and refuse collection details, and a noise complaints procedure.
The trading schedule confirms the venue's operation from 8am to midnight from Monday to Thursday and Sunday, with an extended 1am close on Fridays and Saturdays.
Applicants have previously stated it will create around 160 jobs for the area.
The OPM was submitted to Cumberland Council towards the end of April this year.
Original reports suggest the development would begin in 2024.
In May this year, STACK, which is run by the Daniele Group, opened up a new site in Lincoln.
In 2025, they are expected to launch its new flagship site in Newcastle at Worswick Chambers.
