A MAN has been charged with shoplifting offences after allegedly stealing a 'large quantity' of sun cream.
He is due to appear in court later this month.
The alleged incidents took place in Workington in June of this year.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "Yesterday a male was arrested and charged for shoplifting offences that occurred in the area of Workington town centre on June 29 and 30.
"The incidents involved the male stealing a large quantity of sun cream. This male will be appearing before Workington Magistrates Court on July 22."
