An engineering recruitment firm has been shortlisted at this year's Recruiter Awards.
NRL, which has a team in Egremont in Cumbria, has been selected for two categories.
These much-coveted awards host applicants from a variety of sectors, including agencies, suppliers, and in-house recruitment teams.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on September 26.
NRL has been selected among others as a potential winner for Best Engineering Recruitment Agency and Recruitment Agency of the Year – 50-99 employees.
This nomination signifies the company's five-decades of success and consistent growth in recruitment expertise across a breadth of energy and engineering sectors.
NRL's work supporting clients to meet net zero goals through energy transition plans is of particular note.
Among the criteria for the Best Engineering Recruitment Agency, judges look for businesses that offer a high standard of service, have a deep understanding of the industry, and can innovate in how they address skill shortages.
NRL's recent inclusion in Recruiter Hot 100 list as a top engineering recruiter demonstrates the company's commitment to these standards.
Notably, their approach to identifying appropriate candidates for their clients by employing innovative methods to accommodate skill shortages has been acknowledged.
The Recruitment Agency of the Year – 50-99 employees category, on the other hand, highlights the dedication of NRL's colleagues to their work.
For this category, the judges are keenly interested in the agency's success, its contribution to enriching the industry's reputation, and its emphasis on social impact.
The emphasis placed by NRL's UK and international recruitment branches on creating equal opportunities for underrepresented and minority candidates, women in engineering, and their efforts to inspire the next generation through community outreach is a testament to their social commitment.
NRL Group CEO David Redmayne said: "Hundreds of recruitment businesses submit entries into the Recruiter Awards each year, so to be announced as finalists in two of the categories is cause for celebration.
"We dedicate a great deal of time ensuring we’re supporting the needs of our clients and candidates now and well into the future, so award nominations such as these represent the huge amount of work that our teams put into positively representing their industry.
"We’re looking forward to the awards ceremony in September, to join other businesses working across the recruitment industry and celebrate all of this year’s winners."
