A man has been charged following an incident on in the early hours of Sunday, July 7 on Henderson Road, Carlisle.
Aaron Sewell, 32, of South Street, Carlisle is set to appear at Carlisle Magistrates court after being charged with multiple offences including assaulting an officer resulting in a broken nose.

Mr Sewell was charged with:
- Assault a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm
- Assault by beating of an emergency worker
- Possessing a knife blade in a public place
- Criminal damage
