Around 75 homes in Aspatria are currently without electricity due to an ongoing power cut.
The issue, which was first reported at around 7.30am on Tuesday July 9, is said to have been caused by an unexpected incident with the underground cable that provides electricity.
Electricity North West said: "We didn't know before your electricity went off that this was going to happen but now we know, rest assured we will get your power back on safely and as quickly as possible."
The current expected fix time is 1.34pm today.
