Gen2 is proud to announce the introduction of new validated Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) at Levels 4 and 5 in various Engineering disciplines. These HTQs, endorsed by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) and leading employers, represent a significant advancement in technical education.
HTQs are higher education-level technical qualifications that have been developed to meet industry standards. Gen2's BTEC Higher Nationals (HNs), created in collaboration with industry experts, have been given approval by Pearsons BTEC, and are now HTQs Engineering for England Qualifications and are recognised by IfATE and bear the HTQ quality mark, signifying their alignment with Occupational Standards and their status as high-quality technical education.
The HTQ programs will be available at Gen2's three Cumbria locations: Workington, Carlisle, and Ulverston. The programmes are available as a part-time day and evening study mode and also launching in October will be a comprehensive program featuring a blended learning approach, allowing students to effectively balance their education with work and personal commitments.
"Learn with our highly experienced vocational delivery team, who have a proven track record in delivering HNC and HND qualifications," a Gen2 spokesperson stated. "Our programme achievement rates consistently exceed 90%, and our courses are highly valued by both our learners and supporting employers."
