A FAMILY-run business that has been going since 1984 is excited to move into a bigger unit.

Husband and wife, Sarah and Mike Moore, will be bringing Carlisle’s Homeplan Kitchens, Bedrooms, and Bathrooms to a more prominent location later this year.

The move will see the firm go from the old Pagoda nightclub site to the former Mamas & Papas shop on Shaddongate.

“We’ve been really busy, and we’re moving to a more prominent location – that’s the main reason,” said Sarah.

“There’s a lot more passing traffic, and it’s a bigger site. Expanding size-wise in the showroom will give us the opportunity to show more of what we sell.”

The move from their current site is expected to be completed by October.

The expanded showroom will continue to offer designs, supplies, and installation services for all kitchens, bedrooms, and bathroom needs.

“We will continue to supply all the way through to the finished product,” Sarah said.

The duo gave thanks to Ben Blain of Carigiet Cowan for helping facilitate the relocation.

“We look forward to welcoming new and previous customers to our new unit come October,” she said.

In the meantime, you can still visit their current site on Lancaster Street for all your home needs.
