THE Beacon Museum will be hosting a Finds Day.
This will take place on July 23 between 12pm and 2pm at The Beacon Portal on the ground floor.
People bring along any items that they have found and have them examined by an archaeology expert.
In a post on social media, The Beacon wrote: "Have you found anything historic in your garden, on the beach, or in the park? Would you like to find out more? Bring it along to The Beacon Portal on July 23 and meet our local finds liaison officer Alex Whitlock.
"As part of the Festival of Archaeology, finds liaison officer Alex Whitlock will be holding a drop-in session at the Beacon Portal. Bring along your finds and see if you can uncover more information."
