Cumbrian superbike team Hager PBM Ducati sent their best wishes to team owner Jordan Bird who was taken to hospital before their latest victory.
Jordan, joint owner along with brother Frank, was taken ill on Saturday as the team prepared to race at Snetterton in Norfolk.
After the team’s star rider Glenn Irwin claimed a double victory on Sunday, the team posted an update about Jordan.
“After taking ill, joint team owner Jordan Bird was admitted to a local hospital on Saturday and had an operation [on Sunday],” PBM said.

Thank you to everyone for their well wishes
“The team wishes her a speedy recovery and thanks everyone for the good wishes.”
Both Frank Bird and Glenn Irwin said they hoped Jordan would be cheered by the news of their successful weekend in the latest round of the British Superbike Championship.
Irwin’s performance led them back to the top of the standings on a weekend where heavy rain affected conditions.
After finishing fifth in the first race, Irwin soon opened up a lead in Sunday’s sprint race and, although the race had to be stopped, the Carrickfergus star soon resumed his form and took the chequered flag ahead of Tommy Bridewell.
Irwin also clocked the fastest lap, which put him in pole position for the last race of the weekend, Irwin initially dropping to fourth before working his way forward and leading from the seventh lap to the finish, keeping Bridwell and Christian Iddon at bay.
Irwin regained the Championship lead on 177 points ahead of Bridewell, as he lifted the prestigious Race of Aces trophy.
He said: “I was really pleased with both wins and it’s good to be back in the championship lead. I’ve probably lost a little bit this last month, but we continue to work hard and massive thanks to the team for the bike they gave me.
“It’s nice to get the Race of Aces trophy as well so a big thanks to the team and get well soon Jordan."
Frank Bird hailed it as a “bounce-back weekend” after a difficult outing at Knockhill, praising Irwin for a brilliant ride.
“Well done to everyone and best wishes of course to Jordan, hopefully the wins will have cheered her up!” he added.
The team are next in action at Brands Hatch next weekend.
