Luxury show lodges will be opening to the public at a retreat on a golf course near Carlisle.
The Eden Lodge Retreat, situated within Eden Golf Club, is planning to unveil its new show homes to potential owners over the next few weeks.
This marks the first phase of the quality 20-acre development, which is fast approaching completion.
Owners Alistair and Julie Wannop expressed their joy on the project progress.
The Wannop family has a long history with the 1,200-acre estate, farming the land for more than a hundred years.
The golf course, which has been a key feature in the village since 1992, sits within a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Mr Wannop, a former High Sheriff of Cumbria, said: "I guess it's all part of our journey, to organically grow and capitalise on the incredible surroundings here in the heart of Eden Valley."
He explained that obtaining approval for up to 100 lodges in the park had been a "labour of love" over the past few years.
The resort is also anticipated to be a major boost for the economy.
With the club and lodge resort hiring up to 50 full-time and seasonal staff, interest is expected from all corners of the UK and beyond.
James McAllister, a prominent figure in the tourism industry over the last 30 years, is thrilled to be part of this venture.
"North Cumbria is now very much its own entity as a destination and offers so much to visitors who want the picturesque scenery and tranquillity of the Lake District without overcrowding and heavily congested roads," he said.
In addition to the scenery, the site offers many facilities.
Golf enthusiasts in particular will be catered for with an 18-hole championship golf course, a nine-hole par-36 course and floodlit driving range.
Mrs Wannop added that the journey they have taken is worth it.
"We could not be happier with how the development looks, it has been a long-held ambition for us to develop this part of the grounds, a beautiful site adjacent to the course with unrivalled views across the landscape.
"I'm sure it will be an attractive proposition for people wanting a holiday home in such an idyllic space," she said.
Lodge owners at the retreat will enjoy a range of benefits including three years' free golf club membership, resident discount in the 1Up Restaurant, and no site fees until the second year of ownership.
