Two new events have been added to the programme of a seaside festival.

The Bingo Loco experience and a Fish and Fizz Supper will take place at Maryport's Taste of the Sea Festival on Saturday, August 10.

The Maryport event is one of a number of Taste Cumbria events that take place at different times throughout the year.

Having already sold out shows in 200 locations worldwide, Bingo Loco promises to be a night of energetic fun.

Described as a three-hour interactive stage show with rave rounds, dance-offs, loud music and prizes, the theatre-like performance will take place at Grasslot Sports Club.

For seafood enthusiasts, Fish and Fizz Supper will offer dishes such as paella, salads, Cumberland sausage and desserts with the sea as a backdrop.

The Fish and Fizz Supper is scheduled to take place at The Settlement, located high above the Harbourside.

Cumberland Council’s executive member for vibrant and healthy places, councillor Anne Quilter, said: "We love to bring new experiences for visitors and locals alike at all our events and the line-up at Taste of the Sea is looking great.

"The Taste Cumbria food festivals are all about boosting the economy and showcasing our great towns.

"Get your tickets booked before they sell out!”

Now in its fourth year, the Taste of the Sea Festival will be held across Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11.

It will feature seafood traders, an oyster bar, live music, a rum bar, a beer marquee and more.
