A SECTION of the A66 near Warcop was closed for a period of time today, after a collision involving a wagon.
Cumbria Road Watch, said earlier today, July 11 that they had received 'reports of a road traffic collision on the A66 heading Eastbound near to Warcop Ranges, the road was closed in both directions for some time throughout the day.
Emergency services including police and ambulance were at the scene of the incident, according to the reports.
Due to the location of the vehicles involved recover had taken some time, however the road is understood to be reopen now.
