Andrew Jenkins' family were present as fans, players and officials paid a respectful tribute at Carlisle United's friendly with Workington Reds.
A minute's applause was held at Borough Park before Saturday's pre-season game.
Several members of Mr Jenkins' family, including his wife Diane, were pitchside with others in the stand as the legendary former United owner and chairman was remembered.

The tribute saw Workington, in a public address announcement, express their condolences following Mr Jenkins' recent passing.
Supporters in the 1,214 crowd then applauded in celebration of his memory before the 0-0 draw in west Cumbria.
It was the latest tribute in memory of Mr Jenkins, with a minute's silence having been held at United's first pre-season game at Penrith last week.
Carlisle have also confirmed that their long-serving former owner will be remembered before the first home league game of the 2024/25 season against Barrow at Brunton Park on August 17.
The tribute at Workington came a day after Mr Jenkins' funeral arrangements were announced.
His funeral will take place on Thursday, July 25, with the funeral cortege set to visit Brunton Park and the Rosehill headquarters of Pioneer Foodservice, the business of which he was also chairman.
Fans are invited to pay their respects at the west side of Brunton Park at around 11am, with the funeral cortege expected to do a lap of the stadium at about 11.15am.
After the cortege then heads to Pioneer, the funeral service for Mr Jenkins will be held at Wetheral Parish Church at 12pm.
