A MOTORCYCLIST and pillion passenger sustained serious injuries in a road traffic collision near KFC Workington on Saturday evening.
Police are appealing for information as part of an investigation into a one vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at 6:22pm on Saturday 13 July on Bessemer Way, Workington, next to KFC.
Emergency services attended the scene and police closed down Bessemer Way whilst the
Police would like to speak to anyone who saw a motorcycle with pillion passenger in the area prior to the collision.
Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have a dashcam that captured footage of the motorcycle.
Two men were airlifted to Preston hospital with serious injuries as a result of the collision. They remain in hospital.
