A locomotive which was featured on an iconic episode of Coronation Street has been pictured passing through Cumbria.
The 44871 LMS Stanier locomotive arrived at Carlisle railway station on Saturday, July 13 as part of a rail tour.
44871 was built in 1945 and became one of the last steam locomotives to be withdrawn from service, surviving until August 1968, the last year of steam on British Rail.
She was also one of four locomotives chosen - among two other members of her class to take part in the last ever mainline service to be powered by steam on August 11, 1968.

44871 was in-charge of the Carlisle Citadel to Manchester Victoria leg of the tour which went south down the Settle to Carlisle Line.
The locomotive gained more notoriety when it featured on an episode of ITV soap, Coronation Street, when it provided the transport for the wedding of Roy and Hayley Cropper.
