THE Beacon will be bringing back a popular guided walk tour.
The Pits, Presidents, and Pirates Guided Walking Tour is back for Summer 2024.
In a post on social media, The Beacon said: "On July 31 and August 28, starting from The Beacon Museum, our guide will lead you on a fascinating tour of Whitehaven Harbour and Whitehaven Town, while sharing history and trivia on the varied, dangerous and sometimes starry history of Whitehaven.
"The walk covers about one mile and lasts approximately 90 minutes, some of the walk will take place on the harbour which can be uneven and slippy ground, and will include crossing roads.
"Admission to the walk costs £2 per person and can be booked on the website."
