Carlisle Writers' Group will be holding two writing workshops as part of Carlisle's Historic Quarter Arts Festival.
Experienced writers will be taking creatives through an exploration of self by looking at the markers and milestones of the city's historic quarter and encouraging people to write themselves into the story.
The first workshop will take place on July 27 and the second on August 10, both events will be held at Intro on Paternoster Row.
Carlisle Writers' Group suggests a donation of £5 to go towards printing costs for a pamphlet they are producing for the festival.
