A new children's play facility is set to open its doors just in time for summer holidays, in Penrith Leisure Centre.

Named 'Inflatable Zone', the 21-metre colourful play arena, which opens on July 20, includes a mega-slide, an obstacle course, a wavy bed and wipe-out balls.

The venue promises to be a delightful space for children to enjoy and expend energy.

Tickets normally range from £6 for kids to £8 for adults, with parents of under-fives allowed free entry.

However, on the opening weekend, July 20 and 21, prices will come with a hefty fifty per cent discount.

This also comes in line with Better's 'National Open Day', which encourages the public to engage in sports and activities at local leisure centres.

The centre is managed by GLL under the Better brand, a charity that champions community welfare.
