A north Cumbrian charity is expanding its services with a supported living facility in Carlisle.
Chrysalis Cumbria, based in Wigton, will be opening a new property in the Sandsfield Park area of the city.
The charity provides opportunities to enrich the lives adults with learning disabilities in the area in a variety of ways at its day centres and two 24/7 supported living facilities.
Chrysalis currently has one other support provision in Carlisle at Low Crindledyke which provides individuals with activities such as developing their independent living skills and getting stuck into crafts.
They are currently looking for people to join their team as a result of the expansion.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "The people we need don’t necessarily need previous experience in the care sector, however they do need to have positive values and a commitment to helping individuals live a fulfilling life."
