Carlisle's rearranged Upperby Gala at Hammond's Pond promises grand entertainment for all ages.
The event, organised by Cumberland Council and supported by Friends of Hammond’s Pond Group, will feature a line-up of activities and performances on July 28, from 1pm to 4pm.
Among the entertainers this year are the Tanzanian Acrobats, Northern Heights, Razzamataz, Express Dance Studios, Drum Nation, Char, and the Lazy River Jazz Band.
Attendees can expect a variety of fun-filled activities, including children's entertainers, a fun fair, an owl magic display, archery, face painters, and balloon modelling.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service will also extend its community outreach at the event.
Complementing the day's activities are food stalls and the Hammond’s Pond Café, both ready to cater to the guests' refreshment needs throughout the day.
Charity stalls will also be on-site and guests can try out sports and exercises activities.
Entrance to the gala is free, with vehicular access and free parking from the park's Blackwell Road entrance.
Vehicular access and parking at the Buchanan Road entrance is restricted to those with permits or disabled access only.
Pedestrian access is from Blackwell Road, Buchanan Road, Henderson Road and Scalegate Road.
