CUMBRIA Freemasons have appointed a new provincial grand master.
The organisation provides funding for charities across the county.
Nick Wilson has been installed as the provincial grand master and grand superintendent of Cumbria Freemasons.
The ceremony was held at the garden at Eden, Crosby, Carlisle and was attended by many.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Freemasons wrote: "We are pleased to announce that yesterday saw the installation of our new provincial grand master / most excellent grand superintendent, RW bro Nick Wilson.
"The day was well attended and the installation was carried out by Steven Varley, the assistant grand master from United Grand Lodge of England.
"Congratulations Nick, for all the members of the province, we look forward to the future of Freemasonry and the thriving of our wonderful province."
Neil Dixon of Cumbria Freemasons said: “We are very pleased to announce the installation of the new head of Cumbria Freemasons, this is a very exciting time for the Freemasons of Cumbria and we all look forward to the future."
