A SCHOOL in West Cumbria held an expressive art evening for their pupils.
The event was held at The Whitehaven Academy on Tuesday, July 16.
Parents and staff also came along to see some of the work that the pupils had been producing.
In a post on social media, The Whitehaven Academy wrote: "Amazing artwork on display at the expressive arts evening on Tuesday.
"You could really see the hard work and dedication shining through and such wonderful comments were made by staff, parents, and students on how creative and eye-catching the work was.
"A huge well done to all students involved in the expressive arts evening. We have some very talented and creative students at Whitehaven Academy and the exhibition was only a small proportion of what students create on a daily basis in the art department."
