Families in Carlisle can get active this summer through a new free bike loan scheme.
Yewdale Community Centre has launched the free Get Wheelie Active scheme to support local families in getting out cycling during the summer holidays.
Families with children aged between ten months and seven years old can loan a variety of different bikes and scooters from tricycles to bikes with stabilisers.
The community centre wrote on a post on Facebook that the scheme "will enable children and families to spend more time outdoors, which can only benefit their physical and mental health."
All you need to do to get involved is register, choose your items, pay a deposit, and get cycling.
The deposit will be returned once the bike or scooter has been returned.
Visit the community centre or email ruth.crane@yewdalecc.co.uk for a registration form.
