A man has been arrested after a large cannabis farm was found.
Cumbria police said that earlier today (July 19), officers seized approximately 300 plants from a house on Harold Street after information was received by locals.
The man, aged 50, was arrested on suspicion of cannabis production, and remains in custody as the investigation is ongoing.
"This action reiterates our proactive approach to taking action when information is shared with police," a police spokesperson said.
