Carlisle bare-knuckle boxing champion Danny Christie went head to head with Conor McGregor at a major promotion in Marbella.
The two fighters were in Spain to promote the BKFC's forthcoming event in the country.
Christie, who was the British light-heavyweight champion before moving to the middleweight division, shared the stage with UFC star McGregor.
The duo staged a mock face-off for the cameras before embracing.
Currock boxer Christie later said it had been a great moment to encounter Irish favourite McGregor.
"An honour and a privilege being called champ by the main man," he wrote on Instagram.
They were there alongside several other fighters to promote BKFC 67 which, on October 12, will be staged in Marbella.
The card in the rapidly-growing sport will include Franco Tenaglia taking on Tony “Loco” Soto for the vacant BKFC Lightweight Championship, while Austin Trout will defend his BKFC Welterweight belt against Ricardo Franco.
McGregor was revealed as a co-owner of BKFC earlier this year.
He has also hinted that he could himself fight in the BKFC after he ends his time with UFC.
“I have a little business left with the [UFC], two fights left on my contract," he said at the Spanish press conference.
"But for sure, we’ve got three lightweights up here on the dais, and I have my eye on all of this.
“I’m not up here just as an owner. Player-manager I’ll title myself on this one.”
Christie is awaiting his next fight after winning his first middleweight contest.
The Cumbrian defeated Jimmy Miller by a unanimous decision at the BKFC Prospect Series in Newcastle in June.
He had previously claimed the light-heavyweight title with victory against Anthony Holmes, having earlier defeated Terry Brazier and Darren Godfrey.
After defeat to American Jared Warren, Christie went on to defend his British belt against David Round, before vacating the title as he moved to middleweight.
The Carlisle man is one of a number of Cumbrians on the BKFC scene, with Egremont's Agi Faulkner one of Britain's top-rated heavyweights and Maryport's Bartek Kanabey also a lightweight fighter.
