North Cumbria Integrated Care has warned of an "exceptionally busy" morning in their Accident & Emergency departments at Whitehaven and Carlisle (July, 20).
Urging people to only attend for life-threatening emergencies, they said: "If you have an urgent condition, please consider our urgent treatment centres, 111 online or your pharmacy first.
"Our Urgent Treatment Centres in Penrith and Keswick are open for urgent but non-life-threatening conditions.
