Rising Cumbrian athletics star Joshua Reibbitt threw his way to gold for England - and a new personal best.
The hammer athlete produced a throw of 60.21m to see off his competitors at the SIAB Schools International event in Wales.
English school champion Reibbitt, from Carlisle, was representing England against rivals from Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales at Carmarthen.
The teenager, having already produced a PB of 58.87m with his fourth throw, went even further with his fifth to pass the 60m mark for the first time.
That was enough to put him on top of the podium, ahead of Irish competitor Bobbie Gleeson, who took silver with a throw of 55.41m.
Soham Das of England won bronze with 51.97m.
It is the latest in a series of titles for Reibbitt, who is part of Carlisle Aspatria Athletics Club as well as Cumbria School of Hammer.
Carlisle Aspatria Athletics club have congratulated the young star, who is their first international schools gold medallist for seven years, the last being Lowther's Tara Simpson-Sullivan, a fellow hammer athlete, back in 2017.
The previous weekend the 16-year-old won the English schools under-17 title.
At the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham, his throw of 55.63m proved enough for gold, seeing Reibbitt add to the under-15 title he claimed two years previously.
