A Cumbrian gin is now being served to relaxing passengers in the 1st Class Lounge at London Euston Station.

Cumbria Distilling Co's British Gin has attained a new home on shelves after securing a contract with Avanti.

Business development manager Mike Little said: "The entire team at Cumbria Distilling is thrilled to have secured a deal with Avanti.

"Our dedication to affordable luxury and high-quality Cumbrian spirits is being recognized far and wide.

"We're also excited to announce the upcoming launch of our ready-to-drink Gin & Tonic cans, which will be available soon.

"These will be perfect for the tourism trade in the region, offering a convenient and premium beverage option for visitors and locals alike," he said.

Owned by Paul and Becky Carruthers, the Carlisle-based distillery, established in 2007, is known for its diversified product line, including vodka and plenty of seasonal festive tipples.

In 2022, the expanding business marked the creation of Carlisle Vodka and the limited-edition Carlisle Christmas Spirit.
