A MAN has appeared in court accused of making hundreds of indecent images of children.
Robert Nicol, 51, of Dyke Street, Frizington, appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court to face the following charges:
- Making 29 category A indecent images of a child (the most serious category of child abuse images)
- Making 32 category B indecent images of a child
- Making 923 category C indecent images of a child
The offences are alleged to have taken place in Frizington between August 2021 and January 2022.
The case was sent to Carlisle Crown Court with the next hearing set for August 19. Nicol was granted unconditional bail.
