A UNIQUE opportunity to experience a festival from behind the scenes has been announced as Solfest is seeking volunteers ahead of the upcoming festival. 

Last year at the North Lakes Country Park in Silloth, the festival had the pleasure of welcoming big-name acts including the triumphant return of The Libertines. 

This year, for the festival's 20th edition, De La Soul, The Wailers, and Alabama 3 are set to perform. 

The event will run from August 22- 25. 

The festival is currently offering positions in numerous areas such as traffic and welcoming, stewards, art and decoration, build and break, catering, and driving among others.

As a member of the team, volunteers will receive complimentary crew meals throughout the event.

They will also have access to a crew camping area, complete with catering and a social hub.

To top the package off, workers will receive a unique Solfest crew t-shirt as a memento for their contribution.

In addition, all volunteers will automatically receive a weekend pass to Solfest 2024.
