Two north Cumbrian charities are looking for volunteers to support them in salvaging abandoned camping equipment after Kendal Calling.
Carlisle Refugee Action Group and Sustainable Carlisle have issued a call for people over the age of 16 to help them collect tents and sleeping bags after the popular festival in August.
Anything salvaged will be sent to Calais and Dunkirk to provide shelter for refugees.
The clean-up will take place on Monday August 5 but may continue on the Tuesday if they don't manage to clear everything.
Volunteers will need decent footwear, hi-vis jackets, and gloves - however, they can support you if you don't have these.
Anybody with additional vehicles to help with transporting the tents and sleeping bags away from the site are also welcomed.
If you would like to volunteer, please fill in this online form.
