CUMBRIA Police have been conducting speed checks in the west of the county.
Officers have been on the outskirts of St Bees monitoring the driving habits of motorists.
No offences were noted by the officers, but further speeding checks will continue to take place across the county.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "PC 2857 Mackintosh has been out with the speed gun again on the B5345 as the road enters St Bees.
"Happy to report there were no fast or furious drivers, and no tickets were issued on this occasion as everyone was abiding by the speed limit.
"Please keep a close eye on your speed and where the speed changes. The speed limit is in place for everyone's safety. More checks will be conducted in the upcoming months."
