An artisanal community shop in north Cumbria is gearing up for the autumnal months as it announces a whole host of creative events.

The Emporium, based in Denton Holme in Carlisle, brings people together through workshops and by supporting local makers and artists.

They have recently revealed their autumn and winter themed workshops that are coming up in the next few months.

For floral lovers, there will be two autumn wreath making classes in September that is ideal for anyone regardless of experience. Festive classes will be held in November.

If you can't get enough of the smells of autumn, there will be quite a few opportunities for makers to create their own wax melts and candles packed full of cinnamon, apple cider, and pumpkin spice scents.

There will also be Christmas decoration workshops that involve willow weaving and marbling as well as card making and non-alcoholic wine making.
