FORMER band members of The Beautiful South will be performing in Carlisle.
When The Beautiful South broke up in 2007, some members formed another band The South.
The group will be performing at the Old Fire Station on Friday, May 30, 2025.
In a post on social media, The Old Fire Station wrote: "The South will be doing what they do best - perform the songs of that great British pop institution, The Beautiful South.

"The South is an impressive 9-piece band that features former members of The Beautiful South including singer Alison Wheeler and lifelong sax player Gaz Birtles. Gaz has now moved across to the front of the band with Alison and taken on vocal duties.
"The band will be playing all the hits and more - A Little Time (the number one single), Perfect 10, Rotterdam, Song For Whoever, Old Red Eyes Is Back, Good as Gold, Don't Marry Her plus many more singles and album tracks."
