THE Beacon will be hosting a Street Art Workshop which is being organised by a local creative.

Ian of Beardy Synergy will be running the class and giving his expert advice on creating street art.

The group Beardy Synergy has created murals across West Cumbria and Carlisle

A spokesperson from The Beacon said: "Now for something completely different! You may have seen one of Beardy Synergy’s fantastic murals in Egremont, Carlisle, Bothel, Maryport, and more, and now you can book a place in his latest workshop to learn how to create your own spray-painted artwork.

"An exciting and creative experience that introduces young artists to the world of street art, Ian of Beady Synergy will teach children basic spray painting techniques such as colour blending, stenciling, and layering.

"The workshop emphasises safety, with proper PPE provided and plenty of direction on how to use spray paints safely and sustainably.
