THE Whitehaven Alive Festival is now set to go ahead in 2025.

The 'highly anticipated' event was originally set to take place between September 12 and September 15, 2024.

However, it will now take place between May 23 and May 26, 2025, to coincide with the bank holiday weekend.

The organisers have said 'This change is due to reasons beyond our control.'

Liz Cannon, executive director of Whitehaven Alive CIC, said: "While we are disappointed to change the dates, we are thrilled about the opportunity to host the festival over the bank holiday weekend.

"The new dates will allow more people to join us for an extended weekend of music, culture, and community celebration. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and look forward to an incredible event in May 2025."
