CARLISLE East Fire Station will be hosting an Open Day this summer.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 3, between 11am and 3pm.
There will be a road traffic collision demonstration, a house fire demonstration, have-a-go stations, and appliance and station tours.
Stu Forrester, crew manager, Carlisle East Fire Station said: "We're looking to build on the success of last year's station open day. We have loads of activities planned, as well as the incident demonstrations by the crews.
"It was a great atmosphere last year, and was extremely well attended.
"It's nice to open our doors to the communities we serve, so people can come down and learn a bit about the equipment we have, and what we do."
In a post on social media, Carlisle East Fire Station said: "On the day there will be various stations, including trying on firefighting kit; squirting water to put out a ‘house fire’; rolling and making up a fire hose; throwbag challenge; you can see what equipment we carry on the fire engine; there will be various specialist fire vehicles to look around; and stalls from our friends from various partners.
